What is wave TRON Energy and Bandwidth
There are two resources on the TRON chain, one is energy (Energy) and the other is bandwidth (Bandwidth). They are used to process and execute smart contracts and transactions. In the TRON network, each account has a certain amount of bandwidth and energy.
When transferring money on Bitcoin and Ethereum, you need to pay the handling fee through BTC and ETH. When transferring money on TRON, bandwidth and energy are consumed. When an account sends a transaction or executes a smart contract, the corresponding bandwidth and energy will be consumed. The consumption of bandwidth and energy depends on the complexity and computing requirements of the transaction or smart contract. If the bandwidth or energy of the account is insufficient, energy and bandwidth will be obtained by burning TRX to achieve the purpose of uploading data to the chain.
Bandwidth and energy can be acquired and increased by holding and freezing TRX tokens. Users can acquire more bandwidth and energy by freezing TRX tokens in their accounts to be able to perform more transactions and smart contract operations. It is also possible to use the rental market to pay for fixed energy, which has lower overall fees than staking TRX.
There are two common types of tenants (two common token formats) on TRON: TRC-10 and TRC-20. Bandwidth is consumed when transferring TRX and TRC-10 tokens, and bandwidth and energy are consumed when transferring TRC-20 tokens.
